Phone Number Report: Some loan officer that stated he was from america financial kept calling my work place after repeated request and finally demands to stop calling. Trying to solicit employees for loans. After repeated handups from us and finally refusing to answer the phone for them this guy leaves an angry message first threatening my life and then threatening to send a fima officer to arrest me, throw me in jail, and f*** me in the a** in jail. Gets better, he then said have a nice day. Twice. Seriously doubt the guys name though. Strong foreign accent.

Phone Number Report: Hi folks.. just wanted to let you know how this scammer got your info? remember that payday loan you applied for? yep.. this guy has all your info from the payday loan folks. how do i know? ive been using a series of fake names and phone numbers and applied for payday loans with them (never following through) i then tracked how those names came back to me.. this particular person got my information from "pdlnow.com" a korean based payday loan group.

The person first of all didn't know how to pronounce my name and he sounded confused when I started to ask him questions. He proceeded to tell me how my information will be downloaded and I will be served plus he also said that the conversation will be recorded. Can anyone tell me if am being scam and what should I do if he calls again

Phone Number Report: I have had the same man calling me since 11/222/2011 with the same story..when I asked today what the name of the law firm was called,first he hung up,I called back and he said the law group of Pensylvania,and his name was Jason Brown,although voicemails left on my cell and work numbers Harry or Howard Johnson,hard to understand with his accent, I even asked to speak with someone I could understand better, he became very rude and threatening telling me I would lose my current job because of this Cash advance loan of 300.00 that I supposedly had deposited in my bank acct earlier this year, I told him to serve me papers, I would represent myself and that my financial institution was aware of what was going on. This has to be stopped,and how he is able to get personal info is beyond me..I actually have two numbers for him...484-223-2835 shows up on my caller I.D,and voicemails he has left say to call 972-348-9745

Phone Number Report: It's a scam. They have somehow got my info but this happened about a year ago and I talked to the Local FBI and was told it was a scam and just ignor it. Well I just received another call and decided to try and trip him up, which is very easy to do. Just keep asking questions, like what is your name, phone number,where are you located, etc. Also ask them to spell their name, that usually causes a long pause and confusion, they will act like they cannot hear you etc and will not spell it either! Finally tell then to send you the information in the mail. You have to be legally served papers before you are arrested, just keep that in mind. I just have fun with it and usually make them so mad they hang up!

He had lots of personal info like ss# banking info, address etc.. said we will be served with papers from a sheriff with in 48 hrs for not paying a 450 payday loan. I think this is a scam..

Called number back and got voice message they will call me back as soon as possible sounded like a law firm but it was a threat to me and I felt violated for not knowing what I have done something about a lawsuit and I had better call back asap! I did and now one has called me back. I believe it was a prank or scam. I would never give them my SS# for anything. Please check into this number. It was someone from India. They are trying to get personal info.

Phone Number Report: I received a call on my cell and at work from "the head attorney for Jackson law firm" to call back as my name and SSN were under Federal Investigation. First, the individual was clearly of Indian decent - If something was under federal investigation, I would think an American would call me. Also, when he gave me the number, he called it a "hotline" and when I called the number that came through on my caller ID, it went to a VM system that could not accept anymore mail. And, what really made me realize this was a scam was when he closed the message "Thank you and God Bless you." Let me just ask you; What type of lawyer would end thei call this way?
