Caller Type: Telemarketer
Phone Number Owner: Sprint
Phone Number Report: This is Sprint. It's a customer service effort to help people get into the most economical plan for their usage history. Unfortunately it is not well thought out.
1. They are calling you on your cell phone and causing you to use minutes.
2. After the first recording, a well known Sprint voice, they have a young woman come on to tell you about "... extra charges on your most recent bill." and "... review your account with a ... representative." Regarding my account htis information is not true. So why am I getting a phone call and why is this information presented by an unprofessional voice in an unprofessional manner. This sounds like a scam and that is how most people will treat it.
3. Sprint corporateeither has a few screws loose or they are just trying to run up your minutes.
Sprint fraud had trouble determining if this 888 number was genuine or not as the representative they were speaking to refused to give them an ID number as requested by the fraud representative.
I had a long speakerphone conversation with a supervisor at this 888 number while I had Sprint Fraud listening in on my other cell. The rep and the super had difficulty with the english language. the rep has trouble understanding what I wanted as did the supervisor.
I ended the call angrily instructing the super to never call either of my cell phones again and waste my minutes (this was the third time I had been called).
The fraud representative took my complaint which I requested to be forwarded up the chain to stop the calls from going out or at least have instructions for the customers to call *2 to get more information.
Everyone understood that I shouldn't be getting any more calls. We'll see...
