Phone Number Report: I was charged $33.00 on my checking account also. I found out that the $33 was for the quarter payment on an accidental death policy that my bank started for me free. Since I did not cancel at the end of the free trial i was charged for the first quarter. That being said it is not truely a scam but close to it! Any blame should be on your local bank since they help perpuate the scheme...

Phone Number Report: there was a transaction on my bank staement for 33.00 through US Bank. The number on the transaction was 888-4494544. when I called they answered as "Insurance Company" they said it was an insurance policy but would not give me a policy number or address to their facility. The person who answered was named Angel, but that was all I could get sounded hispanic. I went to my bank and and all they could do was file a fraud report. I am unable to get my money back because it is pending a fraud investigation. The lady at the bank told me they were already being investigated and that she had done more than 10 reports on this number. looking on the net i have found numerous people that had this happen and it's always 33.00 and always for US bank. Numerous people seem to think US Bank is in on it.
