Now,why can't this number be traced and stopped, and if this is a scam, why aren't the callers arrested? I keep getting calls from this number and no message is left.

Phone Number Report: This Man (wasn't paying attention enough at the time to get his name)claimed to be from Dish Network and said he had a Cinemax promotion running. I simply told her I wasn't interested and hung up. Now, after reading these complaints, I did check my acct at Dish after that and no changes have been made yet and they do NOT have a Cinemax promo going so clearly this is a scam. Thanks to the other filers below or I probably wouldn't have given this much thought, but I will be keeping an eye on my Dish acct for awhile.

Phone Number Report: someone called me a little while ago, claiming to be from dish network, telling me i was eligible for a promotion for the holiday for 6.01 per month for the movie channel cinnamax, meanwhile, i hung up on him and called the real dish, and they said there was no such promotion, and the real dish claimed i called in earlier and changed my address, and upgraded my acct, which was not true, and im the only one in the house that can make those changes. so beware out there!!!

Phone Number Report: as most people noted/call several times a day/last was 8:26 p.m/I cancelled service and they want to upgrade/when I said would speak w/my husb and return the call there was no number to call back that's when I thought something wasn't right. I don't think they have anythign to do with Dish Network, they said that Dish probably wouldn't accept this offer/this lady kept talking to someone in the background.....I denied and hung up. We too are on the do not call list..didn't help with this one.

Phone Number Report: Calls two to three times in an hour period. This happens two or three times a night. I called the number back and there was an option to press "2" to remove name from their call list. However, it said it could take up to 30 days to remove my name. At this rate, that would mean close to 100 more calls before they stop. I certainly have no plans to to any business with Dish network if this is their policy.
