Phone Number Report: we get calls from this 877 number several times a week...its pre-recorded with no name and when we call the number, there is no inclination as to who they are. we've made two complaints to www.donotcall.gov, but they obviously are not doing anything about it.

They called me several times a day for about three months, stopped calling for a while, and then just started up again. Back to calling every day without leaving a message.

Phone Number Report: Calls saying they are debt collector for the New Mexico Public Defender's office. Sent them a letter stating the debt was invalid, but they never replied and call daily using an autodialer anyway. They also use false numbers on caller id such as 932-452-9112 and 311-556-3320 which is violation of FTC rules. I smell lawsuit.

I ADVISED HIM THAT I HAD SPOKEN TO HIS OFFICE THE DAY BEFORE - BUT HE DID NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO REASON WHY I KNEW THE PERSON HE WAS CALLING ABOUT WAS NOT MY WIFE. HE THREATEN COLLECTION ACTIONS, ETC AND HUNG UP ON ME. HIS CONDUCT WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARROGANT.

I called back and tried to tell them again that the person wasnt at this number and the woman hung up on me.
