Even if they are legitimate, the way they handle calls is WRONG. With identity theft happening every day, hey anyone can call and say they are with a credit collection agency ... I say IGNORE.

Phone Number Report: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! They are using student loans and other debt as a way to steal your identity and your money. They call and harass about loans that people often do not have, hoping to score a "hit". You pay some of it and then never hear from them again, but they don't disappear without first getting the rest of your bank/personal information. Then they can sell your account again to another agency. That is why it is so difficult to get them to identify themselves when they call.

Phone Number Report: This is a debt collector office. They call every day, all day long. They also send mail to my house addressed to someone who does not live here. I threw their letters away. They say that a certain person in my house owes money. I told them that no one by that name lives here, but they don't stop calling, harassing and abusing me. This has been going on for a decade. Every few years a new debt collector office takes over that old case and starts to call my house. I can't seem to get rid of them. I have a perfect credit history, and I am afraid they'll ruin it. I am so stressed out, I feel like running away from home. I need help.
