Phone Number Report: I beleive this was started when I filled out an on-line application for Huyndai months ago. I chose not to do business with them and they then started shopping my application around and I was getting rejection letters from banks, even though they had approved my loan through their financing and I chose not to accept their terms. They've called my parents as well and my parent's home number is unlisted. I believe I may have given their number as a reference, but generally never give their number so I'm really confused here. My Parents are in their 60s and don't understand the scam that is being perpetrated. They actually mentioned "process server" to my parents and they panicked and called me. If they say they are collecting a debt, tell them they are in violation of fair credit practices and you are in the process of filing a complaint with the district court. That should get them off your case. Also, make sure you let them know that you do have addresses and that a process server will be serving a complaint to them in short order.
