This isn't the first time they've called and asked for some bogus person. Here's the question. What are they really up to? Phone Number Report: This # keeps calling. They used to never leave message, now they say it is an attempt to collect a debt. When I do answer or call them back they say that they want my name. I tell them "YOU should KNOW who it is you're calling, if you don't then you have the wrong number!!" When they say my name and I tell them, "Yes, this is." Then they say, "May I have your Social Security Number?" I tell them "Ummmmm, not just no, but HELL NO!!!! Tell me who you are & What you want." They refuse to tell me WHY they are calling or give me any information until I give them my SSN. So, I told them, "I am NOT giving you MY information until you tell me WHO you are and WHAT you want." All they will tell me is who they are (NCO Financial) But they refuse to tell me WHAT they want. In this day and age I am NOT giving out my personal information and Social Security Number to someone over the phone - especially when I have NO IDEA what they are or what they want. For all I know, they could be some scam artist that will use my information to go get a loan or something and buy a house, car, credit cards, whatever. Are these companies CRAZY to think that PPL will just give out that sort of information over the phone without any reason being given to us as to WHY???

Phone Number Report: These people call me 5 to 6 times a day. Usually I'm not by my phone so they leave a voicemail telling me to call them back. When I call them back or answer it, there is a recording telling me who they are trying to reach and give me the option of telling them this is not a good number for that person and then connect me to a live person and I tell them the same thing and they say they will remove it from the file, a couple of days later the phone calls start again. After going through this 5 or 6 times I now have started using profanity and they don't seem to want to talk to me anymore. I will see if the phone calls stop.
