Phone Number Report: A Nicole called for a credit card and stated that they were going to send me to court if I dont make an ACH payment and she was asking for my bank account and said that is the only way for the credit card company to collect the money. I didn't give it to her but she called again and left me a message.

Phone Number Report: Someone else said they called and were told they are the National Recovery Service. I called and was told they are the Offices of National Recovery Solutions, based out of New York. They called my number, because I was put as a "reference". It all sounded suspicious from the beginning, because I would be the last person to be put as a reference for the person in question. My middle initial was included, which draws red flags, as I highly doubt the person in question knows my middle initial. Claimed it was a civil claim against said person and was trying to locate them. Said they were the Offices of NRS, which they said are with the National Attorney Network. When I called back to find out who they are, they were reluctant to give me specific details. I have no doubt this is a "legit" debt collection agency, but it seems they are the typical debt collection agency from what others tell me about how they operate. (I do not have debt. Was taught from a young age to pay everything with cash or not at all. I adhere to that to this day, so I don't get these calls.) I believe they are simply calling any number they can find in relationship to the person they are trying to collect debt from and saying they are a "reference" to con people into giving information and/or getting the person in question to contact them through that "reference" person. Ask to never be contacted again if you are a supposed "reference" person and be done with them. Not your debt, not your problem.

Phone Number Report: ***THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TRYING TO COLLECT A DEBT! THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY!*** Some guy named Chris called my little brothers cell phone and asked for me. He said it was regarding legal document that pertained to me and for him to tell me to return his call. Chris also claimed that I had put my brother down as a reference. This is not true. I have never put my brother as a reference. I suspect these people are using public records to find out information. How he got my cell phone number , I have no idea. He even knew that he was my brother. Scary!! These people are looking to steal your identity!!!!

Phone Number Report: Someone by the name of workman called my mothers house looking for a woman I had never heard of. I called and it was National Recovery Service. I do not owe any money so I do not know what it is about.

Phone Number Report: Someone from this number called my parents and my house and said it was utmost importance for me to call them by the name of Mr. Hubbard....i have no ties to anything this gentleman was calling about. He was very rude and hung up the phone on me.

Phone Number Report: received call on two different phones from Tim Morrows He was looking for someone with my last name, got my name from phone bk. He is now calling stating they are meeting to decide what to do with my case and I should call him so I can have input. I dont know what this is about. Sounds like a scam.

Phone Number Report: Automated system called me several times, asking for a person I don't know. I called them back, and actually got a live person on the phone. I asked her to identify herself, and then explained that I no longer wanted them to call me. She seemed very accommodating and promised that my number would be removed from their database. Hopefully this resolves the issue.

Phone Number Report: This number has called my work and my home numbers for months and has left voice messages that I need to contact them immediately, that there has been a death in the family....that's pretty crule! Also, have left messages that they need to speak to me, that I was a reference for a person named Edward Nelson (do not even know this person) and that I should call them back and they left a reference number. This is just trickery to get someone to call them back. They should be out of business....very dishonest people.
