Phone Number Report: I got the same message 4 times this morning. It seems it's going to many cell phones, all with an 801 area code. If you go to Capital Community Bank's web site, capitalcombank.com, they have a notice on the home page about this. This, and anything asking for personal information, is a scam. We have all seen things just like this over a dozen times, either online or on the news, warning the public. DO NOT ENTER ANY PERSONAL OR PRIVATE INFORMATION ON ANY SITE THAT IS LINKED THROUGH AN EMAIL OR BY PHONE, UNLESS YOU WERE EXPECTING IT.

Phone Number Report: This is a scam, I just called the number and there's a machine asking for my credit card number. I typed a random 16 digit number on my phone key pad and the recording starts again!! Be careful, it looks they just want your info to steal from you!!!

Phone Number Report: I called the number back and it claims to be a department from Capital Community Bank...it has a recorded message that requests your credit card number - uh, duh!! They already know your credit card number - they should ask for a different item of info to verify it's you. There is no way to speak to a live person. Ignore the call and do not give your info out. If you think there is a problem with your account - contact your bank at the regular number.

TOLLL FREE 8662014838 When I called this number it was a completely automated computer, not the usual pre-recorded message systems I hear when using a bank I actually am a member of, asking me for my credit card number and other personal information. Seems highly highly suspicious, like a text message phishing operation to me.
