As usual, I say "You won't find him here and I don't know the guy"...that generally gets Lee's debt collectors to apologize and go away, at least for a while. If they get rude or persist, I just set down the phone, turn on some (LOUD!) music and wait it out; eventually they hang up.

Phone Number Report: They call me at least once a day looking for a "Hamilton Moore." I have been getting calls for "Hamilton" for almost 4 years, and they keep calling despite the fact that I have explained that I am not him and have asked to have my number removed from their list.

The call leaves an unintelligible voicemail with a number to call, but when the number is called, there is no one on the other end. I have no idea why or how they got my number nor the purpose for the call. It is an extreme nuisance. How does one get the number disconnected?

I keep telling him that I have had my cell # through work for two years and I am not responsible for Dallas' debt. "I'll take you off the list," is what I hear. Problem is: I NEVER get removed from the list!
