Phone Number Report: Offending number 732-542-3012 I received calls (rings actually) during all hours for several days and nights on my newly installed voice line (an AT&T serviced wire/land line) at my new residence. Caller ID only showed "Out of Area:" no number and no location. My complaints to AT&T were to not avail. Finally for a fee, I agreed to purchase an AT&T service that forces callers to show their numbers and location. At 7:01 AM on Jan 16, 2009, I began to receive fax connection attempts from Eatontown, NJ at number 732-542-3012. (My new Panasonic phone has a "Night Mode" feature. With it I can select the hours that prevent connection. After several frequently interrupted nights in my new home, I activated the function for hours 11:00 PM through 7:00 AM Eastern Time. Nevertheless I still continued to get bothersome attempted fax connections during the other hours and probably blocked calls from my friends in Alaska and other time zones. No one should have to take the measures that I did to get needed sleep.) Phone Number Report: SCAM...SCAM...SCAM! Caller ID displayed "Premier Global". The female said she represented At&T and offered our small business a lower rate than we were presently paying. I asked that she call us back in a few days as I would need to run it by my boss(but actually because it/she sounded suspicious!). I immediately phoned AT&T directly and learned that we already have their lowest available rate - and that they were unaware of Premier Global soliciting for them! Watch out for this SCAM! The Premier Global rep said she could save us $6.00 per month if we would opt for a one-year contract. She also said that we could sign a THREE-year contract at this "low, low price and save even more!". Take heed folks! We consumers must be ever watchful to avoid the lechers in the market place.
