The person that called me identified herself as my "Centurylink account manager" but when I asked her who she worked for she gave me another companies name. I then asked her if she was affiliated in any way with Centurylink and she said no. Total slam attempt!

Phone Number Report: Caller stated she was with Nebraska Telecom and wanted to discuss my Century Link phone bill. She state that since Century Link bought out Qwest that they are losing revenue so have allowed "nebraska telecom" to wholesale Century Link services. She said that the small business rates had increased since Century Link took over and she could save me money. My bill has not increased. I told her I had been told bs like this before and ended up with much higher rates. Continued to tell here that I have a contract which has an early termination penalty and that I would not be making any changes. Am calling Century Link to report this.

Phone Number Report: Numerous calls from this place regarding something about phone service. I have repeatedly asked to have my number removed from their calling list.

Phone Number Report: The person said they wanted to talk to me about my long distance charges; that they were going to go up. She asked if I just had the one long distance line. I said, you should have my account number and know how many lines I have if you are calling about my long distance rates. She said because of the privacy act, she didn't have access to all of my information. I said then I'm not comfortable speaking with you about my account and send me the information in the mail. She said well, fine and hung up.
