My daughter had gone out for the night and all I could think of was that it was her and something had happened. A voice came on sounding like an old lady saying she called a wrong number. This so-called wrong number cost me $11.50 for a collect call that wasn't for me or was a prank.

Phone Number Report: This is not realy a scam. American Roaming Network allow callers from unregistered cell phones to make collect and credit card calls. This service is required by the FCC (http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/get-c ... R=2002&TYPE=PDF) . If you receive a phone call from this number, someone from a unregistered cell phone is trying to complete a collect call to you. The person should be leaving their name at the prompt,like any other colect call. If you do not accept the call you will not be charged.
