Phone Number Report: I had same expereince with me too... Indian sounds guy from National Reader asking my personnel information like what your date of birth...Address etc....he knew my visa card no ednding with .....I am requesting pl catch guys like this and locked them up.....

Phone Number Report: date of call: 8/4/09. The caller had my name ph# and last 4 digits of my mastercard. The caller only says he is thanking me for using my mastercard that ends with xxxx and wants to send me a 100 dollar Walmart gift card and wanted to verify my information. I hung up and dismissed the call when I was called a second time. A week prior I used the mastercard they referenced at www.bumpits.com to make a purchase. Either the website has shared my information or is a victim of phishing. I closed my credit card account and changed my phone number due to other similar calls from other 'businesses'.

Phone Number Report: Very polite male with an Indian accent called me "in regards to my Visa ending in XXXX". He thanked me for being such a great customer and wanted to send me a Wal-Mart gift card for their appreciation. He knew my basic information and gave it to me and asked that I say yes or no to confirm that I am "the right person". After a couple of simple name and address type of confirmations, he had me listen to a recording. The recording basically stated that they were sending me a gift card and some other sh*t and that I needed to call an 800 # (bogus #) to cancel. Then this polite Indian sounding jag-off gets back on the phone and asks me if I accept. I said hell no. It didn't matter; he went on to say I'd be getting "whatever" in the mail (these people are extremely hard to understand) and he hung up. He never did give me or ask for my complete credit card number, nor did he mention the 3 digit security number on the back. Will this SOB try to charge my card or something?

Phone Number Report: I received a call from National Readers offering me a free Walmart gift certificate for $100 They ask you to confirm your last 4 digit of your credit card # and the year of your birth plus your mailing address. I think this is a scam. Beware!

Phone Number Report: They keep calling about a credit card that I cancelled bc telemarketers new the last 4 digits, and wanted to sign me up from their programs. When i tell them I already cancelled the card they hang up. help!

Phone Number Report: This person keeps calling and hanging up. Will only let it ring once. I know they are from a company that steals your information and than proceeds to sign you to a bunch of programs. They are out to steal your identity and money.I would suggest not picking up numbers from area codes you dont know.
