They kept calling my number but I did NOT register it so I have called Dept. of Corrections so they will locate victim and remove my number. VINE is legal and they are trying to help victims. My message gave me another number to call and talk to a human being. I suggest you do the same.

An automated message stated that this was a call from the South Carolina Department of Corrections and I must enter my PIN Number. If I do not enter it, I will receive a call every two hours until I enter it. I have nothing to do with any Department of Corrections so there is no reason that I should be called by them.

We're supposed to have received our last call tonight. WE NEVER REGISTERED TO BE NOTIFIED AND DO NOT KNOW THE PERSON THEY ARE CALLING US ABOUT - JUST FOR THE RECORD. We'll see, I guess. It is from Vine Services of Texas, a crime victims alert service. You or someone entered this number to call back when a person (suspect / prisoner) has been released or transferred from jail.
