They call and call and call and no one is on the line -they need to stop it...apparently other people are having the same problem.... I see below some people talk to someone, but there has never been anyone on the line. We did have someone call to collect debt from someone we do not know - and we let them know we don't know who they are talking about.... weird all around and it needs to stop

They say that I owe $176.00 to Banana Republic which I know is totally false because I closed that account and paid it in full several years ago. They call me non-stop. I told them that I did not owe the money and they say I do. I told them to stop calling me and they say they won't stop until I pay or until I send them proof that I paid BR. I told them to send me proof of the debt and they claim they already did. (they did not) This is a total scam and I don't know how they are getting away with it!
