Phone Number Report: I got 3 calls from this number within an hour and a half. I do owe money on my credit cards and have talked with each company to make payments but the calls keep on coming. THIS particular caller has a number you can't call back which is unusual. All the other calls from WAMU you can call back. I will be skeptical on THIS caller since when I call back it states "the number you are trying to dial cannot be reached. Please try your call again". FYI - I know a lot of people are having financial problems. Please please talk with the companies you owe money to...they will try to help you and it does give you more time to work it out. If you avoid their calls, they can quickly put your account into trouble ....and then bankruptcy. Good luck.

On one, a man left a message saying he wants to 'visit with me for just a couple minutes'. Well, I don't call random people back who call my cell phone. This is extremely irritating and annoying!!!

Their intent is for you to think you were inadvertently disconnected, then for you to call back, enter the last four digits of your credit card, then the 16 digits on your credit card. If I don't answer and they get another person in the house they demand to "speak to her husband" or the demand "work number" which they can not have or I could be fired. Most of these people do not speak english or very little english and are a pain in the @$$. The could careless who they are talking to.

Phone Number Report: Thi is Washington Mutual. I've always paid them on time, and my payment posted on the day due, so they started calling me that day. I've spoken to two of their customer service reps and they claim the calls will stop, but they haven't. I've reported them to the state of Texas and the Federal Reserve here in Texas and in 3 other states where I've had calls coming from. I can understand if I didn't pay at all, but to call me on the day my bill was due, and posted, is malarky. I fortunately have no balance on this card and will just keep it to show a good open account on my credit report, but it will only be used at Christmas, and paid off before Valentine's Day.

I don't have any dealing with WaMu at all (and never would). All the googling I've done points to a scam to get your SS# and CC#, phishing is the word. Beware. Guess I have to pay for those darn calls, maybe TMobile can block them
