Phone Number Report: Robotic female voice says her name is Lisa, says something like there is nothing wrong with my credit card account but they can offer me a better rate and to press 9 to speak to an agent. Message repeats on a loop without pause, doesn't stop. I hung up the phone, them picked up a few seconds later and Robot Lisa was still looping. I pressed 9, was transferred to an agent. Agent tried to greet me, I didn't let him talk. I told him to take my number off his list. He was calling from a noisy room with lots of people talking in the background. He continued with what sounded like a scripted greeting, and I told him again. Then he made comments indicating that he didn't understand me and I realized the man barely understood or spoke English (he was not French either). I asked to speak to someone else and he started talking to someone else in background and they were laughing together. I got his attention by yelling, and when he started talking to me again, I told him he had called a government office number and I want him to remove that number from his list. He repeated "you are government?" a few times, and I said yes, that he had called a government office. He suddenly said "oh, you are the <name of our office>", which I had not told him. He said "oh my God" and said he would remove the number from his list immediately, said "God bless you" and hung up.
