I received another call on March 17,2010. This time it sounded like the same voice but she was claiming to have gotten my name from the woman I had previously spoken with. She said she was from consumer services department. When I told her that I do not know what they were trying to do because the previous called had all my info and hung up on me. I told her I had called the FTC as well as the cops and she hung up.TO GET THEM TO STOP CALLING ME AND YOU CAN DO THE SAME CALL CITISTREAM COMMUNICATIONS AT 402-982-0200
AND TELL THEM YOU WULD LIKE TO FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST ONE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. YOU MAY ALSO VISIT THEM ONLINE AT WWW.CITISTREAM.COM THERE WILL BE A PLACE ON THE HOMEPAGE TO FILE A COMPLAINT. wHEN CALLING OR EVEN FILING ON LINE YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: (1)THE NUMBER THAT'S CALLING YOU (2) THE NAME THAT COMES UP ON YOUR CALLER ID (3) YOUR HOME PHONE NUMBER (4) THE DATE AND TIME OF THE CALLS.I found that you really need the number that called you and give them your home number and they will make a note to them to stop calling you. They are telemarketers that is what a Citistream Communications rep told me. Also I found out from my phone company that If you are on the Do Not Call List you need to re-enroll every two years and you can do that by calling 1-888-382-1222
or go online to donotcall.gov I hope this is helpful to someone.
