Phone Number Report: Yea, same, 8:27 this a.m., but CID showed "Chase USA", so I know it's Chase Visa (in my case formerly Washington Mutual) wondering when they can expect payment on my old account (I owe thousands) WM closed three years ago. (They are now calling at odd hours and calling more often; and they think that will make me more compliant with their demands?!) Chase is now gouging me in interest and wants to know when they can expect payment. When I get paid you "AlphaHotel". The economy sucks and I have to juggle bills. They are upset I won't let them tap my checking account directly each month; I pay OTC-only, paying as much as I can part with in a given pay; I'm paid twice a month - and never the same dates each month. Banks are under the gun from Obama Administration and, in turn, are putting the screws to account-holders. Welcome to 21st century finance. They sent me a letter to call them about a program to reduce my interest rate and pay off the account sooner. I took the bait, only to be told I'm not eligible and they would need to do a financial prostate exam. Go fly a kite.
