Phone Number Report: This telemarketer was male. He asked for me by name and I asked right away which company he was calling from. Unfortunately he really ticked me off so I can't recall the full name. It was "National __________" He claimed I'd requested information on eanring "residual income", which usually means this is a telemarketer pushing some kind of MLM--Multi-Level Marketing. I never requested any info. I'm a published author happy with my career. No one in my house requested info. What ticked me off most was this guy's arrogant behavior on the phone. As soon as I told him I was on the DO NOT CALL LIST, he began arguing with me, asking me how he was supposed to know that, suggesting I'd requested info online (BOGUS!). Whatever company this is, if they have guy's like this calling, their sleazebags!

I asked who was calling and he mumbled something so I asked again who it was that was calling and he just got upset and said "I'll call back when I can speak to DAVID!" If someone is going to call and then get upset when I want more identification then there's a serious problem here...

In fact any exchange number less than 200 is invalid in the U.S. These people are illegale and should be reported. file complaints with the FTC, there phone complaint page will not accept invalid exchange numbers so use the identiy theft page or one of the other pages. They do not follow any telephone regulations. They are totally illegale. Do give them any personal information. Please report them to everybody that you think will listen. They are ripping someone off every day that they are in business.
