A recorded voice asked me to stay on the line as all operators were busy. When I heard an odd clicking noise, I hung up since I didn't know what the scam might be. I am on the No Call list.

So much for even that annoyance. Not sure about this idea but if enough people do it, just maybe we can outsmart the idiots & invent a new use for oxymoron. My idea is everytime I get their call, I will either register a call complaint with their carrier(Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems,L) or e mail said carrier. I repeat, each incident will go back to their carrier. I refuse to stoop to a non call, unsollicted idiotic call on my phone that I pay service for. Lest there be an actual emergency and they tie up a line even though for a few seconds, these people are the lowest & should be held accountable.

When the answering machine picks up an automated voice message of a woman says "Hi. I have an important message for you. Please call me back at work". I'm VERY tired of these calls. Sometimes they call up to 4 times a day, and as late as 10 PM. How do I get these calls to stop???

Phone Number Report: These guys are so obvious... when you get a call..dont admit that it's your bill..in Tx the limit is four years..for both kinds of bills. In other states some are different years.this goes for credit cards, hosp. bills. 1. tell them you want a copy of the bill that states what was bought. 2. for them to send you a copy of their permit to operate in your state.. then you can tell if its your bill.(this goes for lawyers, too) You can send it back to them with a letter telling them not to contact you again.the bill is not collectable.
