I tried calling the # back, but it's continually busy. I don't know how they get my number - it's unlisted & non-published and I'm on the national Do Not Call list... which I'm sure scammers don't pay any attention to anyway, right?? They disconnect before we could answer anyway, and/or there is no one on the other line. Yes, totally bogus, as I believe they are "testing" to find good working numbers so they can sell to other telemarketers. Scumbags.

Phone Number Report: GO TO AICR WEB...800-843-8114 IS LISTED. I CALLED AND TOLD THEM I WANTED MY NUMBER OFF THEIR LIST. I WAS TRANSFERRED TO SOMEONE ELSE, WHO SAID THEY NEEDED MY NAME TO ACCESS MY NUMBER. I TOLD THEM THERE WAS NO WAY THAT SUCH A LARGE NON-PROFIT DNC EXEMPTION ORG COULD NOT CALL UP A PHONE NUMBER WITHOUT A NAME. I ALSO TOLD THEM THAT IF THEY DID NOT REMOVE MY NUMBER, I WOULD CONTACT THE "CALL FOR ACTION" LOCAL TV REPORTER AND THEY COULD DEAL WITH THE NEGATIVE PUBLICITY. SHE THEN TOOK MY NUMBER, AND I TOLD HER IF I GOT ANYMORE CALLS, I WAS GOING TO FOLLOW THROUGH. FYI: WILL POST ANY RESULTS THAT OCCUR.
