Phone Number Report: got a call from this number. The phone rang, and I picked it up. I said hello, there was silence and no reply, so I knew it was a call centre of some sort and not a friend or family member calling me. Just to satisfy my curiosity, I said hello for about three times, and eventually, the I heard back ground noise of several people talking, before anyone spoke on the line to me. My curiosity confirmed, a call centre!! I then said hello what can I do for you. An Asian sounding male then began to speak, I think my first words had caught him off guard, and as he began to speak, I could hear a bit of uncertainty in his voice. He was unable to pronounce my surname correctly! I said what can I do for you, and he stuttered as he struggled to pronounce it again, and then he struggled to spell it, it was wrong!! and immediately said he was doing a survey. This of course made me mad, and I told him he could not even spell my name correctly. He then went on to say "but this is the number right" as he read out my phone number missing out the first digit, confirming it is an international call. I said to him that I did not want to take part in the survey if he cannot even get my name right for a start! but he continued to ramble on as as I talked to him and he read out my address, completely ignoring what I was saying. I then repeated to him that I did not want to take part in the survey, but before I could finish the sentence, he terminated the call, how rude!!!
