Called it back to get a message that if i was calling from my sprint phone i would not be charge minutes, and to please hold for next available person, then i hung up. Must be sprint sales people. I had asked them last year to stop calling and they had, but when they "start a new promotion, those requests are canceled." I asked to speak to a service manager so that I could cancel with Sprint and go get that new Iphone I've always wanted! =) They immediately found a way to label my account so that I am never called with offers in the future (ask them to check the privacy feature on your account file) and gave me a credit on my month's bill. Not bad for a 5 minute call in which I got to wast a little of their time (although I had to waste mine as well to make the complaint). I also checked and they are not a separate telemarketing company that subcontracts with Sprint..they are actually from Sprint so they are not covered under the National DNC List if you are a customer. That's why you need to call and make a formal privacy request to be documented in your Sprint file. Surprised me it was Sprint since i sure its because my contract just recently ended and they want another two years.
