I asked her if she had the correct person because I thought it was a scam and that she was a crook because she said that she did not know why she needed my son except that she had his name. I do not I intend to call them as I feel this is a scam and again there is no reason to call a debt collector who obviously has the wrong person with a very common last name. Beware! These are scare tactics, check your local court for any cases against you, 9 times out of 10 they are lying. Also debt court is not criminal court, its civil. When i tried to get there debt collector license number they refused, address, they refused, and to simply spell the law firm, they refuse. Said they dont have to do any of it....THATS A LIE, I KNOW THE LAW LIKE THE BACK OF MY HAND. As soon as I find out who they are I will file a lawsuit against them for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
