I use my answering machine to screen all my landline calls with the ringer turned off, but it's still makes having the landline almost useless. I'm probably going to cancel my landline soon. I think the FTC and the phone companies should be held accountable for failing to anything about this situation, but THOSE people with the power to do something all have secretaries and aides to screen THEIR calls!

They are asking me for security details straight away but I never provided them with any kind of information.
