He asked for my husband. When I asked where he got our phone number (it is unlisted and we are on the do not call list) he said, "You entered it in our website." I asked which website, he replied, "I don't know. Today is my first day." He said over and over again that I could talk to his supervisor after we got through the initial process. He then asked me for my date of birth, which I refused to give. I told him that if this was a legitimate call he would be able to transfer me to a supervisor immediately. I mentioned that the caller ID said Jose Lopez and this phone number. He hung up.

What I do know is that they are calling folks on their cell phones which I thought was illegal, and that my wife also received a similar call yesterday (her number is close to mine). It ought to be a requirement that telemarketers are identified when they call. It only seems fair that we should know who they are just as they know who we are. If they know my address, at least require them to file theirs. Might put an end to some of these rediculous interuptions.
