This does not work if the caller is from India. The calling number seems to trace to a residential number in Wisconsin. They have called me on a different number also, 608 3625721, which shows up in the white pages as a residential number. On the fifth call, I gave them some information. They gave the contact number as 866 746-2137, and a fax of 866-402-1146. They wanted me to fax my credit card statements as soon as possible so that they could start working on my issues. They gave the website: www.edebtcare.com . The website includes the two 866 numbers that I listed, with an address in Denver Colorado. I checked Google maps, found the address, and listed every business at that address. No debt services of any kind there. Checking the domain, on www.register.com site, I found that the domain is registered to a company in Mumbai India. The administrative contact is shown as Owen Woodlay of Edebtcare. Listed address is: 385 Gondlay St St Jose DD 91 2228339455 Of course, there is no state 'DD' - the zip code is located in San Jose CA (not St Jose). The street name 'Gondlay' does not exist in San Jose. And the phone number is not local to San Jose, but actually located in India. Seems to be a scam to get people to send their private credit information to an unknown entity.
