They are hired by various law enforcement agengies to solicite donations for youth charities. This bothers me for two reasons: how can they hire an outside company to solicite for charities when we are laying off officers. Second, all I have heard for several years is that law enforcement agencies never cold call for any type of solicitations. So why are they doing this?
